The RTHS Art Department has offered After School Art for eighteen years now giving grade school age students the opportunity to create outside of their normal classroom. It is our art department’s belief that art is a critical part of a child’s education. Learning in the arts builds strong self-awareness and self esteem and enhances student learning. This opportunity is open to any child entering grades 1-6 and will help kids refine their art skills and let their creativity run wild this summer. Sessions, times, and costs are listed on the adjacent registration form. Each class offered will have different projects than previous years and be taught by Andrea Swofford and Beth Mock, art teachers at RTHS.
